The show I am most excited about is the Betsey Johnson show tomorrow night! It is so exciting. Instead of doing small posts about each show, I am going to do a mega post on each show (or some of my favorite outfits from shows and some totally not ones)! Back To School: Supplies

I know what you're thinking. "Lucy, I hate school, why are you posting this?!?" Well, thinker, I wanted to make a post about my school supplies and how I stay organized, so I could help anyone who is a little frazzled about going back to school. Personally, I kind of love going back to school and shopping for it. I have no clue why, but it just excites me so much! I go back really early this year, which I am not too happy about, because I love summer. But it is what it is sister. The backpack!

I got this backpack from Target, and it is apart of the Trans by Jansport collection. When you're in middle school, it's time to ditch the Disney bookbags and go to Jansport/Trans/anything without Disney characters on them. I got a new one this year, and they last a really long time and they're super duper durable. Click here to find out more. And I know the picture looks really weird on the Target website, but trust me, it isn't that weird in person.

The notebooks!

Apparently, I needed lots of notebooks this year for each and everyone of my classes for me to break my back with. We needed two 3 Section/Subject Wide Ruled notebooks, one 2 Section/Subject Wide Ruled notebook, and one 1 Section/Subject Wide Ruled notebook. Wooh! I got the in different colors to make it more easier for me to remember which notebook was for this subject, etc. Make sure you label your name, homebase, etc. on the notebook, incase you "misplace" them or get way too frustrated and throw them out your window.

The folders!

As like the notebooks, I tried to pick out colors that would go with the notebook's color itself. How OCD am I? These are two pocket folder, and what I plan on doing is making one side for homework and the other side for study/notes that I need for upcoming tests, and instead of bringing all the folders home, I can look at each one and see what I need to bring home to do homework or study with. And I also recommend labeling these again, since probably everyone else in your school will have the same folders.

Supplies!

*these are not all the supplies I need. Of course, I have more, but I chose to show you some of the supplies.*

These supplies are really important when it is school time, because you don't want to be asking people for pencils or a sharpener during a test or an important day, do you? Make sure you have some in your pencil case, and don't put all of them in at once, since they could become easily lost or something like that. Above are my favorite pens and pencils that I use in school.

The fun stuff!

When I talk about the fun stuff, I mean the stuff that isn't needed in school, but it's optional. Except for the lanyard, which I need. :P

Lanyard

In my school, this is needed for your ID, so you don't loose it and you have it with you at all times. Get something you like on it, like cheerleading, smileys, or just a funky design! They sell really nice ones at Five Below, and Hallmark (if you're into Vera Bradley).

A book and some note papers/Post-Its

I'm always carrying around a book, incase I finish early and I need something to occupy the time or if I just need something to read while waiting for something/someone. It is also good to carry around note papers, or Post-Its, because sometimes you may need to jot something down real quick and they always come in handy.

Guest Post: Acne Tips At Home

How Can You Treat Mild to Moderate Acne at Home?

Over 80% of all people in the world have had acne at some point in their lives. As we age, breakouts usually decrease, but a small percentage of people have it just as badly as when they were teenagers. If you get the occasional blemish, acne can feel like a nuisance. But for some people, acne can be a life long disorder that can be very frustrating to deal with. In this article we explore treatment ideas for people that want to decrease their breakouts, but don't necessarily feel like they need to go to the dermatologist.

Face Washes

Washing your face before you go to sleep to get rid of dirt, cosmetics, and extra oil is essential to decrease breakouts. It is important to exfoliate dead cells on the skin's surface and inside the pore. These keratinized cells are a major contributor to clogged pores and &lt;a href="http://acnetreatmentone.com/types/remove-blackheads/"&gt;blackheads&lt;/a&gt;. A face wash with either salicylic acid or glycolic acid can help make sure these dead cells are cleaned from the skin. You might also want to experiment with a benzoyl peroxide wash as it can kill that acne causing bacteria that salicylic acid cant. Benzoyl peroxide does not exfoliate like salicylic or glycolic acid, but it does do a much better job at ridding the bacteria within the pores.

Masks

There are a few anti-acne masks that have been reported to reduce swelling and dry out pimples. One of the best masks to try is the "anti-bacterial egg white mask". The best things about this mask is that it is very cheap and very effective. The mask is made simply of whisked egg whites applied to the face for 15-20 minutes before bedtime. Egg whites contain sulfur (which gives it the smell) that can kill acne causing bacteria. Sulfur has been used for centuries as an anti-bacterial and is found very inexpensively in egg whites. One egg is enough to make 2 masks.

A bentonite clay mask is great at removing dead skin cells and extra oil. Alternating between a clay mask and egg white mask works very well because it addresses the two main causes of acne, clogged pores and bacteria.

Herbal Treatments

There are some very effective herbal treatments for acne that can be found at any health food store. Witch hazel is a natural astringent that can kill acne bacteria and reduce the size of swollen pores. This can be used nightly after the face is washed with salicylic or glycolic acid. Many people have reported an improvement in breakouts in as little as two weeks after using witch hazel.

Another herbal treatment that is widely used for acne is Tea Tree Oil. Extract from this plant has been used as a natural anti-biotic for 90 years. It has recently become more popular as there is a greater demand for natural products. Most doctors recommend a 5% - 10% Tea Tree Oil solution, but discourage the use of any higher concentrations. Despite being a "natural" product, this extract can be very harmful if swallowed. Products with high concentrations of tea tree oil extract can even cause burns or blistering on the skin.

Spot Treatments

If you have a blemish that is swollen and red, you can use calamine lotion to dry it out. Calamine is a solution that is made of zinc oxide and ferric oxide. It is used most often for skin problems like hives, chicken pox, and bug bites. But, if used on inflammatory acne overnight, it can have a dramatic effect by morning. Use this on any bright red spots that you need to get rid of quickly.

The use of an exfoliating wash combined with an anti-bacterial can greatly improve acne problems. The products above are inexpensive and usually work as well as anything you can get from the doctors office. If you just want to give a couple products a try, you should first get a salicylic acid face wash. Clean your face with this wash, twice a day and use an egg white mask before you go to bed. The exfoliating power of the salicylic acid combined with the anti-bacterial effects of the sulfur can usually get rid of any mild to moderate acne.

Two Years Old.

This time two years ago, I was blogging about Miley Cyrus dancing on a pole, which had nothing to do with fashion or what I write about now. I wrote about my favorite music every day, my obsession with Taylor Swift (which I still have today), 23 Things To Do When You're Bored, and much more things that might actually be too funny to put up on here. In these past two years, I've learned so much and made so many friends. Like, Marielle from Marielle Speaks, K and J from Bon Vivant Clique, Amanda from Color Me Blue, and so many other people that have helped me through the way. My blog has also grown into a blog, too. When I first started out, I didn't get two followers until a couple weeks in, but now, I am 5 followers away from 100 (giveaway might be coming soon if we reach 100!)! Blogging has let me grow into a fashionista that knows how to write correctly and meeting other people that have the same interests as me. So, happy birthday LucyPlease.

I am cross-posting my post that I wrote for threequarterchic a couple days ago. It explains why I love, love, love Goodwill and how I find it to be a (very) good place to shop at. So, enjoy! And remember to go and visit threequarterchic, because her blog is amazing!

I am sure all of us fashionistas have visited a Goodwill or a Salvation Army before and have found some pretty amazing finds. I, for one, have found so many vintage things, that I can’t even count! Goodwill can be a source of information to all you bloggers, considering they have everything from every time period there. If you LOVE vintage, too, they have some really wicked and cool clothes there, for really cheap.

Why do I love Goodwill?

Their bargains: At my Goodwill, they have a bargain on a particular color each week. So, sometimes it might be 50% off pink, or 50% off purple – you get the idea. It is really good for putting together outfits that I need with that color. For example, if I need a pink shirt, I would get it for a lower price than I wanted to pay. And since it is Goodwill, they always have some sort of sale going on, so that’s always good.

What they have: I think it really depends on when you go, because sometimes they have good clothes, and sometimes, not so much. But the majority of the time, they have some really cute and vintage things that are worth buying. Actually, there are some pretty cool and eclectic vintage finds, such as eclectic sweaters, shirts, and colorful pants.

You can make it affordable: Most items you buy from there are going to be under $50, and that is why I mostly love Goodwill. You can make a full outfit, complete with accessories and shoes, and it will be cheap and chic! No matter what budget you’re on, you’re always going to find an affordable way to “Make it work!”

Mood Fabrics

IT'S MY BIRTHDAY!!!!

Yesterday, I went up to New York City (for my birthday) and saw Wicked, which if you ever need to see a Broadway play and love the Wizard of Oz, Wicked is the way to go. It is my favorite. Anyway, since we were in New York, we HAD to stop at Mood, the fabric store. I am sure you're familiar with Mood Fabrics somehow; but if not, all of the contestants of Project Runway shop there for their fabric! So of course, my mom and I had to go there.

When we got there, I took a picture with their "Welcome" sign, which had the rolls of fabric and Swatch in front of it. If you don't know who Swatch is, Swatch is their dog that runs around the Mood store, dressed in costumes/funny outfits. Unfortunately, we couldn't find Swatch, but the manager did say that he was wearing a Mood shirt and a name tag. Poor guy!

When I finally reached the fabric areas, I fell in love. They have EVERYTHING you'll ever need for sewing/clothes there. Fabrics, zippers, buttons, sewing tools, mannequins, upholstery, ribbons. I mean they have everything, and you can easily get lost in the store. And they have three floors, which makes it even more hectic! As I walk up the stairs, I feel like I'm finally apart of something. Something that I like and that everyone else in the store likes. I see people in neon maxi dresses with the dreadlocks, and then the prairie looks, with the bun and the prairie dresses. I look and pull out some fabrics that I like, but put them back, because I have so much at home that I don't know what to do with! I looked and ran (power walk, I should say) all over that store to look Tim or Heidi, but then I remembered that they would have to close the store to have them in here.

I cannot get enough of Tim running around the store, trying to catch Swatch!

As we are about to say our goodbyes to Mood, I see that they have t-shirts in the back. And then I remembered. That in this Mood store, they sell "Thank you, Mood" tees. Fortunately, they had LOTS left, and I picked myself up one! They are a black V-neck (deeper than it looks) tops and are made by American Apparel. I tried it on today, just to make sure it looked 'super fine' on me, and it looks GORGEOUS! It is made of out 100% cotton, so it will shrink a little, but I am glad, because even the small is a little big for me! I grabbed the Mood bag, and kissed it goodbye. I knew the next time I would be in here is when I become a contestant on Project Runway, running around the store like a maniac.

Guest Post: Caring For Dry Skin

As I have mentioned several times before, I have extremely dry skin. Even in tropical humidity, my skin gets ashy if I don't moisturize properly. I have learned a few lessons through trial and error over the years that I would like to share with you.*

- Moisturize, moisturize, moisturize. Keeping dry skin properly hydrated is half the battle. Not all moisturizers are created equal. When trying a moisturizer, do the five-minute test. Apply the moisturizer to the driest part of your face/body and wait five minutes. Then check to see how the skin feels. If it's tight, the moisturizer is not rich enough. Scratch the skin lightly with your nail. If it leaves a mark, you definitely need a heavier formula. For daytime, use a moisturizer with built-in sun protection. Choose the SPF based on the darkness/lightness of your skin. After washing your face, moisturize while skin is still damp. Layer products at night to maximize moisture - see next point.

- Use layers at night. I learned this one fairly late in the game from a cosmetologist. Skin repairs itself when you sleep at night and it uses all the resources available in order to do so. If you have dry skin, layering products is a great way to give your skin an extra boost at night. After experimenting with different products, I found that jojoba oil followed by a rich night cream works best for me. You can try vitamin C or vitamin E serums, essential oils or anti-aging serums underneath your night cream to determine what suits you. Massage the first layer until it almost disappears into your skin. Then apply the second layer. The result will be a more supple face when you wake up.

- Exfoliate regularly. If you have dry skin and small pores like me, closed comedones, or whiteheads, are your worst enemy. A whitehead forms when a pore gets clogged and skin closes over it. The result is a permanently shut clog that appears in the form of a pesky little bump on the skin. As unsightly as occasional pimples and open comedones (blackheads) are, they have relatively simple remedies. In contrast, closed comedones have no proven solution. That bump can remain under your skin for years (I speak from experience). Even cosmetologists are wary of lancing closed comedones. The best approach is to prevent them by keeping skin clean. In addition to washing your face at least twice a day, exfoliate at least once a week. Avoid physical exfoliants such as scrubs, as they leave tiny cuts on the skin's already dry surface. Instead, use a chemical exfoliant containing alpha and/or beta hydroxy acids. This will dissolve away dead skin cells without harming the living skin underneath.

- Do your laundry. Bedding is an often-overlooked source of skin problems. From dust mite droppings to skin flakes to hair, dirt and grime, your bedding catches all kinds of particles that can clog pores and irritate skin. Wash your sheets and pillow cases at least every two weeks using the hottest water setting on your washer.

- Take popular advice with a grain of salt. I have seen many blogs, fashion magazines and other popular sources provide information on skincare and makeup routines by season or by price point. While this information can be useful, it often fails to account for skin type. If skin type distinctions are not made explicit, the advice usually pertains to that particular contributor's own skin type. Those same products may not work for your dry skin. Don't go by a blogger's recommendation to switch to an oil-control formula for the summer just because it looks good on her. That formula might leave your skin dehydrated. It is important to make the necessary adjustments for your skin type when following skincare or makeup regimens prescribed by popular sources. Research the products online or consult an expert.

- Adapt. Lifestyle, geography and age are all factors in your skin's health and appearance. Skin also develops some immunity to regularly used products. Re-evaluate your skincare routine every six months or any time there is a significant change in your lifestyle, and update products that no longer work.

Trendy Trends: Maxi Skirts

Skirts are a really big must this year, because they can keep you cool and you can wear them with really anything! But who knew maxi skirts would be in this year?! I never liked maxi skirts - I never knew what I would pair them with, how they would look on me (and other figures/body shapes), and what colors would actually look flattering (before they came out with these colors as in the picture above, they always looked so boring to me and not wearable) if I did wear them. But now, they are back in style and now in brighter colors! Maxi skirts can also have many benefits.

Any shape or size can make it work! If you are a little more on the chubbier side, you can make it work and it won't make you look weird. And if you are on the skinnier side, you can still make it work!
Wearing a maxi skirt can also make the lower half of your body look smaller! Now isn't that a bonus?!
You can also make them work in any season! In the winter/fall you can put white/black leggings underneath it to keep you a little bit warmer and in the spring/summer, you can just wear them as they are and still stay cool!

Ending this little synopsis about maxi skirts, they are very wearable, you can wear them anytime, anywhere. AND they work on every body type! Now isn't that amazing?

BDIY: Making a User Friendly Blog

This topic has been seen on my blog many times before (see link here and here for more information on those posts), but never have done a BDIY on this topic. Your template, links, wording, and your personality can be a very big factor in the way you blog/how you present yourself to the blogging community. It can represent your take on blogging and how you want your blog to be seen by everyone.

Tip #1: Pick a template where everything can be clearly seen, accessed, and easy to read.
I get my themes from BloggerCandy, and I use the Build Your Own Background theme. I use this theme because it is one of their easier to read ones and you can personalize it whatever way you want to. As you can tell by my blog, I have just made it a white background because I didn't want it to be too risky for readers and didn't want them to be blinded by my funkiness. That being said, I did my header a little bit more fashionable than I usually do it to add a pop of color to the blog. And the font of this blog is very easy to read - it isn't a small font, nor is it in cursive or a crazy bubble letter font that you mistake an s for a z. If you want a kind of crazy font, but you can still read it, go to DaFont (crazy name, right?), because they have some really great ones that are actually readable.

Tip #2: Make sure links work to all of your posts/pages/emails/other websites.
The way I do this is I make sure (before I post my blog post for that day) that I check all of the links on that post and make sure they are worded correctly and lead to the right place. What I occasionally do also is that I check each link once a week just to make sure that people that are reading them at a later time can still get to the link, just incase they changed there URL or something in that nature.

Tip #3: Be welcoming to new followers/comments.
Try to make your blog welcoming and friendly to new readers and not complex for them to comment or follow you. Make sure your follower widget is on and near where your comment section is, just so it is easier for them to follow you instead of them going through your whole sidebar. And make sure your comments have a nice, welcoming message before you comment and visit their blog to thank them for commenting.

Tip #4: Stay up to date with fashion trends and your BLOG STATUS!
It is so last year to go out of trend with fashion and not keeping up with your blog! If you need help organizing your blog, here is a great post from Independent Fashion Bloggers on "How To Create A Weekly Editorial Calendar", which helps with when you post and what you post. And have your favorite fashion magazine sites on your bookmarks list, because you will be visiting them a lot to let your followers know what is the new trend and to make your blog more up to date.

Tip #5: Have FUN with your blog!
When your main goal is focusing on your layout, getting new followers, or staying up to date with fashion, throw some fun into your posts! Whether is it some jokes, or little quirky things about you, add it in! That is another thing we blog for - ourselves. Not just to get followers or comments, but to find ourselves through all of this.

How To: Wear A Blazer

As I went on my adventures to Goodwill today, I visited the "Blazer/Coat" section of the store. I should have brought my camera, because I found some of the best buys there that I have found in a while. Blazers can be very versatile - you can wear them with shoulder pads (which kind of looks like you have a hunch on your back - no offense) or without or cuffed sleeves (my favorite!) or not. Blazers can also be worn with really anything! They can be worn to work if you need to spice up an outfit, or of course, if you are cold. They can also be worn with just your everyday style and adds a pop of color! Here are some of my favorite ways to wear a blazer in the summer (pictures from Polyvore):

Summer Must-Haves For Beauty!

As summer will soon approach and all of us will be bearing those hot, humid days, I wanted to make a post about MY Summer Must - Haves! Many of these beauty products items will save your summer days in the hot weather. Summer has not 'officially' started for me yet, considering that I still have a few school days left. If you have any OTHER Summer Must - Haves that you use every summer, just put it down in the comment section and I will be SURE to read them! Now onto the beauty products!

BEAUTY:
SPF 15 (or above) lip balm, face moisturizer, sunblock: SPF is ALWAYS important, especially in the summer. There are harmful rays in the sun that can damage your skin if you are not wearing, especially if you are at the beach or outside. Having lots of SPF products in the summer will keep your skin from getting burnt, but still give you a perfect tan.

Toner / Cleanser: As summer comes, everyones face is going to be getting a little oilier or drier, so a toner and a cleanser MIGHT be your best friends for the summer (skin care wise). Toners can take out all of the bad stuff in your face (for example, oils, dirt, bacteria) and make it cleaner, while a cleanser can remove dead skin cells, keep your pores from clogging, and can cause acne.

L'Oreal Go 360 Clean Face Cleanser (remember, there are different cleansers for different skin types for this cleanser)

Tinted Moisturizer: When you are outside and it is 90+ degrees outside, you DO NOT want your foundation, powder, AND concealer sweating off of your face now, do you? So a tinted moisturizer is always good in the summer. Now, there are some that actually come with SPF in them, so I do recommend buying one with SPF in it.

Body Scrub/ Buffer/ Exfoliant: Cellulite can be a big problem in the summer, and a scrub is always needed. Cellulite is caused by the sun and shows on the top layer of your skin. An exfoliant, buffer, or a scrub would be good for any kind of cellulite that you may have (common on thighs, arms, stomach, and neck). You should only exfoliate 1-2 a week, because you do not want to damage your skin.

Waterproof everything!: As you may be swimming during the day, sweating, or anything that involves a liquid on your face, waterproof makeup it is! Waterproof makeup is a MUST for girls in the summer who CANNOT live without their makeup, but don't want it to smear, smudge, or run. Waterproof mascaras and eyeliner are probably the two best kinds of waterproof makeup out there.

Dry Shampoo: Since you maybe on the run during your summer vacation, dry shampoo might come in handy! If you have oily or greasy hair, this is going to help a ton. Don't have dry shampoo? Baby powder will work the SAME exact way in your hair as the dry shampoo.

Since the weather here is BLAZING HOT, I decided to put myself in a cute tank top today :). This outfit was really comfy and kept me nice and cool all day! And I think these tanks are my new favorite thing, because they are so comfy and I got them in a bunch of colors (pink, purple, and the color I am wearing now, which is a turquoise in person). I didn't do much today, got a really cute bathing suit that I will have to blog about soon. It has this really cute tribal look with a bunch of different patterns on it and it is just ADORBZ! I hope everyone is staying cool where you live if you are dealing with this hot weather and I try to blog a whole lot more soon! I pinky promise.

HOW COULD I FORGET?! - Inspiration

I forgot to post last week because I was going ballistic out of my mind, so I will make it up THIS week with more INSPIRATION. I actually just came back from camping and it was SO much fun, but it was raining :(. Whatevez, it was still AMAZING! How has your week been so far? I am ready for some inspiration, because I need some to get me back into blogging! I have been super busy with everything, but I am going to try time to blog and post what I need to post, so definitely expect more posts and videos from my blog soon. How are y'all doing? I have missed you all for so long :'(. Since I was in the tagging mood today, I wanted to do a tag on one of my favorite subjects. Yep, you got it, Lush. I have been in love with Lush lately and have been trying to use up everything I have in my storage. I am doing good so far! I also found a new site that I have been addicted to and it's called: LushWiki. It has EVERY product Lush has ever made. Heaven! Now onto the tag...

1. First product you EVER used from Lush, and how long ago was that?

The first product I have ever bought from Lush was Demon in the Dark, which is a soap. It has a very minty and spearmint smell and I was addicted to it! I still have a huge chunk of it left, which I will be using soon. I bought it last year in the month of January. (POST HERE!)

2. Top 3 favorite bath bombs?

The top three favorites would have to be Twilight, So White, and Fizzbanger. Yummy!

3. If you could use only ONE Lush soap or shower gel for the rest of your life, which one would you pick? That is a hard one! I would probably either use I Should Coco or Honey I Washed The Kids. If it was a shower gel, it would probably be Snow Fairy.

4. Favorite massage bar?

Strawberry Feels Forever. All of the way.

5. Will you be attending the Lush U.S. Chat Party on April 14th? What do you plan to purchase?

Yes, of course I will be attending the chat party! I am not purchasing, though, considering their shower gels are 25.00. But I really want the Twilight shower gel...

6. How often do you visit your local Lush/order online?

Right now, I haven't gone to my local Lush for about 2 months or so, but I am planning to go next week on SPRING BREAK! I have never ordered online, and don't plan to unless I really need to. But, I try to go to Lush every two months or so.

7. Favorite Gorilla perfume scent?

I haven't been that big into the Gorilla Perfumes, but my favorite one would have to be Vanillary. I don't own this, but it smells amazing!

8. Have you ever used a knot wrap before? If so, what is your favorite pattern?

Yes, I have used the knot wrap before and I love them! The name of the knot wrap is called Swallows and my aunt gave it to me. I adore it! I have used it for everything from Lush.

9. Favorite face cleanser?
I love Coal Face! I found out that is was the best product that worked from my face and skin type. I tried Angels on Bare Skin and 9 to 5, but nothing worked as good as Coal Face. Don't know if I will buy a huge chunk, considering it's price.

10. If you were to give your best friend a product from Lush, which one would you give him/her?
I would give Honey I Washed the Kids and Honey Bee bath bomb. She LOVES the smell of honey, so I would totally buy that for her.

11. Favorite limited edition product (holidays, etc.)?
For Christmas, I would have to say either So White or Snow Fairy and for Valentines Day would be It's Raining Men

12. How did you first hear about Lush? What enticed you to buy a product?
I first heard about Lush when I was online one day and was watching a video on YoutTube and a Lush haul video showed up on the suggestions tab. So, I clicked on it and fell in love. I had a faze of where I would get done everything I needed to do and then would just go and watch Lush videos for an hour. The thing that really enticed me was that they didn't test on animals and all of their products looked fresh.

13. Favorite bubble bar or bath melt?
CANDY CANE BUBBLE BAR! It makes THE BEST bubbles out there, no joke. When Christmas rolls around and they have their sales again, I am definitely going to stock up on them.

14. What are your favorite Lush blogs online to read?
There are not many ones that I read, but there a couple that I am really in love with right now. Lushiesunite and LushWiki.

15. Favorite Lush face skincare products besides cleanser (toner, moisturizer, serum, etc.)?

16. If someone was to buy you a wrapped gift from Lush tomorrow, which one would you want?
Lush Legends, DUH! It has the most products in it and I need it! So, uh, if anyone wants to get me a gift, ya know...

17. Favorite retro product OR product that has been discontinued?
I Should Coco, because the smell reminds me of the beach and being there. I wished my store hadn't discontinued this, but the other store that I am going to still has some left!

18. How do you feel about the Lush Dirty line? Have you tried it or will you be trying it when it gets to North America? I have heard some really good things about this. If you don't know what this line is, it is a huge line that has the smell of fresh laundry and cotton. They also made a body spray and toothpaste! I hope they bring it to the NA, but we will have to wait and see!

19. If you’ve had a terrible day, what Lush product do you use for apick-me-up?
I usually never have a bad day, unless something went REALLY wrong, so usually, if I do have one, I will take a bath or scrub my feet. And then lather up in Dream Cream.

20. What is your favorite soap from Lush?
I LOVE Honey I Washed The Kids, because it is honey! I also LOVE Snow Globe and SnowCake. Yummy!

21. Lush is a very ethical company in terms of their sourcing and campaigning, as well as all the green initiatives they take for packaging. Are Lush’s ethics a reason why you use Lush products?
That is part of the reason why. I don't just buy their products just because the don't test on animals or are very conscious of the earth and what they use. I buy their products because they smell so LUSHious! But I do also buy them because of what they do and how they make their products.

22. What is your must-have-on-hand product from Lush?
Dream Cream, I Should Coco, or Dreamwash is always on hand for me. Dream Cream really makes my skin better (I have keratosis pilaris all over my body and this helps a lot), I Should Coco makes me smell good and exfoliates very softly, and Dreamwash is just a really good shower smoothie that also helps my skin.

23. Do you keep your shampoo bars/massage bars/body butter bars in the Lush designated tins?
Yes. I do keep MOST of those products in the tins, massage bar wise. I don't own any shampoo pucks/bars, but when I get a massage bar, it usually goes into a tin.

24. Favorite emotibomb?
I have yet to try one, but if I do but one of the emotibombs, it would have to be Up You Gets, because it wakes you UP in the morning!

25. Where/how do you keep your Lush stash?
I keep my Lush stash in a little rolling cart and put everything from Lush in there. The first two shelves are occupied with Lush, and then the last one has fashion things in them. I keep it organized by my favorite products in the front, so they are easier to get to, and then the ones I hate/don't like/they made a bad batch in the back. I use everything that I buy from Lush, and I used the ones even I hate just so I can get rid of it.

26. Do you have a favorite compounder?
Nic and Chainsaw! Chainsaw is such a cool name and Nic has made most of my products.

27. What issue of the Lush Times has been your favorite? Do you keep all of the old issues?
My favorite issue would be their Christmas issues, because it has all of the new things and goodies in it, and has really cool artwork, also. I have multiple copies of all of the issues since last year in January.

28. What is one product you really want to try but haven’t?
Sweetie Pie Shower Jelly, Mask of Magnaminty, or Twilight Shower Gel.

29. Favorite hair treatment product?
I haven't tried any of their hair products, but American Cream or New! Shampoo Bar sound and smell really good. I don't know if I will ever really try their hair products, because my hair can be really weird to manage, but you can always dream, right!?

30. What is your ULTIMATE, ALL TIME favorite Lush product and why?
Oh gosh, I don't know! I would have to say I Should Coco because it smells so good and brings back lots of memories from the beach. It smells EXACTLY like the beach and always works best in the summer.

Just some of my favorite things for right now. I am so busy with the musical at school, I haven't really had time to relax and enjoy these things. But now, since it is the weekend, I am trying to! Sadly, Glee isn't on until April 12th (sigh), so I am desperate for TV and I am catching up on The Middie (Brick is my life: I haven't been to the library in two days. TWO!). ☆This Years New IT Color

The Honeysuckle Pink color! I am finally in love.

So, since I am like terribly sick, I stayed home today. The Today Show with Hoda Kotb and Kathie Lee was on, so I decided to give it a flick. I watched it and I found out they were doing a little segment on this year's big color. Do you wanna know what it is? HONEYSUCKLE PINK! I was kind of surprised, because I have never heard of that color! Honeysuckle pink is a pink color, mixed with a fuchsia, and it looks kind of like this font color. Pantone named it "Color of the Year", so you AT LEAST have to own something in this color! This color has many shades, and it can look good on any figure or skin color. Personally, I have not seen this color a lot, but I have a feeling for spring that it might be all over those sidewalks (or streets, whatever you want to call them) and designers will be using it. Now onto the color itself!

Marc Jacobs debuting his Honeysuckle Pink color. I am not a huge fan of the dress, but the coloring and the way he accessorized is genius.

Some honeysuckle flowers that are really pretty and I would love to have them in a garden! This has nothing to do with fashion, but has a really nice color to it.

Can I have this couch in my room? I <3 THIS COUCH. The color, pillows, and the way it is shaped makes me feel so vintage! Also, the lining of the couch is nice.

I have been sick this weekend, so all I have really been doing is capturing memorable OOTD'S on my webcam and looking and crying (jk, jk) over these Glee Tumblr's. FINCHEL FOREVER! This shirt is probably one of my favorite shirts that I own (right now). I got it from Old Navy on clearance and I ♡ it so much! The weather where I live has been really nice and I have been able to open my window (which is so nice, after this long winter) and let the breeze come into my room. Sigh.... Now today is the first day of spring! YAY! And a little birdie told me that my local water ice place is going to give out free water ice! OMG. I am excited, because hopefully it will cure my sore throat (crosses her fingers) and I will be able to sing again! Now I have to go.... sigh. I sigh a lot. Sorry.

Rachel Berry: Fashion!

Since I am a total gleek, I just had to do a blog post on Rachel Berry! Rachel has a personality like me, and could maybe be my twin. Rachel LOVES the spotlight, and will do anything to get the main solo in the glee club. I think Rachel semi fits my personality because I love singing and have the biggest crush on Finn. But enough about me, let's get to her fashion. Rachel's fashion is AWESOME! She doesn't care about what she wears or what other people think. Rachel LOVES plaid skirts, crazy jumpers/sweaters, and just sweaters in general! Throughout this post, I will be showing you some pictures of my favorites outfits and yeah. So, let's get started!

I love this one, because she looks like a business person! Not actually, but you know what I mean! The vest looks really good over the checked/plaid 3/4 length shirt. And her hair! Love.

This one is BY FAR my favorite one that she has worn. It has the coolest print on it and it is very " Urban Outfitters", if I can say myself. And you might not be able to see it, but the bow in the middle is very elegant and I like how it doesn't pop out as much.

The perfect polka dotted halter dress for her! It is very nautical, if I can say so myself and looks so good on her! I wish I could wear it :(. She wore this in one of my favorite scenes from Glee.

Ooooh Rachel is mad in this scene! But besides that, her shirt with the nudish-pink heart looks amazing! I especially love the neck detailing and how it didn't turn into a v-neck.

Haha. This one is my favorite crazy one because it is inspired by Lady Gaga. Quinn (a.k.a Dianna Agron) is in the back. Her hair thing is the most amazing thing I have ever seen on a TV show.

Ahhh her shoes are awesome! Nude Mary Janes. And her red skirt with the detailed bow in front is pure genius. And the argyle top! OMG, THIS OUTFIT IS AMAZING.

Now for the last one, which is probably the most vintage one. Her shirt with the middle braided-like detailing is very whimsical and her skirt with the buttons in the middle are also very old-looking, which is a good thing!

So, I went to the mall yesterday with my friend and we went shopping! Fun. But the only sad part about it was when I forgot my wallet :(. My dad found it when I left, so thanks dad. You saved my life! There was this really cute top in American Eagle that I wanted that was on clearance, because I was NOT paying 24.50 for that shirt. But it was fun and we smelled candles (she gets sick by candles, but she still loves them anyway!) at Yankee Candle. So, I asked my mom if she could take a picture of my outfit for you guys, and she said sure, like always. It was a pretty laid back outfit, considering it was only the mall, but I dolled it up with a scarf and a hobo bag!

I recently read a post on spring fashions, which I already did make a post about and the link will be here if you want to check it. I was brainstorming in math class today (don't judge) and found out that I should PROBABLY do a post on makeup, since this blog is about fashion and makeup. So, yeah. I know many people have their own opinion about what kind of makeup to wear for spring, so this is my opinion. Now onto the trends!

1. Orange colored lips! - Personally, I never thought this color would be a trend in the spring, but it actually looks really good on some people! It doesn't come on as orange as you think, just as a orange-reddish color. This color would be really pretty if you want to spice up a day look or even a night look that is kind of bleh! Here is a picture from Scarlett Johanson who demonstrates this color perfectly with a orange eye. ADORABLE!

2. Pink and Coral Cheeks!

Especially in the spring, coral and pink cheeks look so adorable! It adds a nice touch of color to your face, which is good if you have a very pale face. Just add them to the apples of your cheeks (smile to find them) and voila! You are done and you just spiced up your whole entire complexion! A+ for you girl!

3. BRIGHT NAILS!

Bright nails are always in, but especially in spring they are in so much more! In the spring, it just makes everything more exciting and BOLD. Some good examples of bold nail colors are neon's, pinks, turquoises, and purples. But there really is a whole variety of bold colors! And you can wear bold colors anywhere: like on your eyes, cheeks, lips and even on your hair (headbands, hair colors, etc.)!

4. BOLD EYES!

Again, another thing that is bold. Bold things are very common in spring because they make a statement and spring is always so colorful. All bold colors on your eyes can look good on any skin color or any person, really. My favorite kind of bold eyes are blue, orange, and purple. What are yours? But remember one thing when you are trying to put on a bold lip: DON'T OVER DO IT! Don't make your lips bold when you already have a bold eye on, because people will think YOU are crazy, even thought that would be awesome if I saw someone with that makeup. I would totally give them a high five.

5. Wacky Eyeliner Colors!

Not many people think this trend is a 'must', but to me it is quite awesome. I love when people go bold, because it shows how much confidence they have. Now, I haven't seen much colored eyeliner yet, but my favorite one I saw was a yellow one at Sephora, I believe. Even though I never wear makeup, I would so wear this one! You can even go a little simpler with a green or blue, so it looks a bit more natural.

Why do we all want to be "cool" in the fashion world?

This is my 200th blog post! WOOOOOO!

Why?

This is a question I ask myself very frequently in the fashion world. Why do we not take risks sometimes just because we feel like ' oh, so and so may call me names on this top ' and ' they might say it is the worst thing they ever saw on anyone in their life.' I don't know about you, but I am not-so confident when it comes to wearing things I see in stores or what I have at home. I am afraid that if I wear it to school, people might call it ugly and say that their grandma can dress better than me. And then, I end up not getting it because of what they will think. One of my best friends has the most confidence I have ever seen, because she wears the rocker combat boots to school and long skirts, and even though people say that it is weird, I feel like slapping them in the face. They just don't know her. It's kind of like the saying "Don't judge a book by it's cover". I hate when people say that, just because she is not wearing the Aeropostale polo tops, Uggs, and the Michi black jeans doesn't mean she is weird. Half of the people in my school dress this just to not get made fun of or have someone say something about them. So, this brings me to my question I have for all of you. Why do people who dress cool say that we are weird for what we wear or something that we bought? Some of you might not feel this way, while others do.

Oscars 2011 : Best and Worst

So, probably most of you know that the 83rd Annual Academy Awards ( a.k.a The Oscars ), and let me say, the fashions were ...... okay. I am not going to say that they were the best I have ever seen, nor am I going to say that they were bad. They were okay. On the red carpet, I saw lots of celebrities wearing red ( Anne Hathaway, Sandra Bullock, etc ) dresses and strapless dress, too. I liked how the look of all of these were classy and elegant in a way, but still modern and fresh at the same time. Here, I will be listing my picks for " The Best and Worst Dressed, " and then will list who made the dress, what shoes they were wearing, etc. So, let's get started!

Best Dressed

Who: Anne Hathaway

Wearing: Valentino (dress)

Why I love it: It has many layers to it, so it gives her a nice train effect and makes it look more voluminous, and I also love how it is kind of tight at her waist, then descends as it gets longer.

Overall: 9/10

Who: Florence Welch (from Florence and the Machine)

Wearing: Valentine Couture (dress) and Lorraine Schwartz (jewelry)

Why I love it: It is so vintage and very classy, and is not like all of the other dresses there. It's cream color is also very lovable, too.

Overview: 12/10 (can I give her that?!)

Who: Sandra Bullock

Wearing: Vera Wang (dress) and Jimmy Choos (shoes).

Why I love it so much: Okay, I think I am in love with this dress (and it is made by Vera Wang, too, so I love it even more). The sweetheart top on the dress looks so good on Sandra, it isn't even funny. And the way it fits her is magnificent!

Overall: 10/10

Who: Hailee Steinfeld

Wearing: Marchesa (dress), Fred Leighton (jewelry), Ferregamo (clutch and shoes).

Why I am loving it: She looks like a ballerina! Her dress is so perfect, and the detailing on it makes it look like she is a fairy. Not sure if this one is my favorite, but she does deserve being the " Best Dressed "of the night.

Overall: 8/10

WORST DRESSED

Who: Reese Witherspoon

Wearing: Giorgio Armani Prive (dress), Neil Lane (jewelry).

Why I dislike this dress: You guys know that I love classy things, but I absolutely dislike this dress. I don't know what it is, but it is just ugly to me, frankly. But her hair gets a A+!

Overall: 6/10

Who: Jennifer Lawrence

Wearing: Calvin Klien Collection (dress), Jimmy Choo Platforms (shoes), Chopard (jewelry), and Judith Leiber (bag).

Why I dislike this dress: UGHHH! IT IS SO BORING! Like, really?!?! The red color really pops out, and I like the color, but it is so boring and I wish I could just bring a Bedazzler and put one sequin on it!

Overall: 2/10

Who: Gwyneth Paltrow

Wearing: Calvin Klien Collection (dress), Brian Atwood (shoes).

Why I dislike this dress: Her hair is amazing and I need it so bad, but her dress is too shiny and makes it look kind of cheap. I don't absolutely hate this dress, but not one of my favorites.

Overall: 5/10

Who: Halle Berry

Wearing: Marchesa Corset Gown (dress), Christian Loubotins (shoes).

Why I dislike this dress: No offense to people who love this dress, but I thought she had transformed into a bird when I saw this. I like the top and everything, but I think the train might have a bird or two in there. Don't like this dress at all.

Overall: 4/10

Secrets of Building a Better Blog : Part Deux

Hey bloggers,

I was going through old posts today, and I found out that I never did a part two to " How To Make A Blog." I think I just never got around to it or didn't feel like posting it. But, here it is! These tips don't just have to be used for beginner bloggers, they can be used for people who have been blogging for a while or people who need help with their blog and don't really know where it is going. Here are some links if you want other tips on beginning a blog or just tips on being a better blogger!

1. Comments (Link above if you want more in depth about this topic)

Comments are sometimes hard to deal with, and sometimes can be hard. As most of us know, there are people out there that like to leave hater comments on your blog. And then there are some people who are spammers and leave weird things on your blog about your horoscope. I have had so much spam comments on my blog, it's not even funny. So, here are some ways to deal with hater and spam comments before they become outrageous.

Do's :

If the hater leaves their blog name or you can go to their Blogger Profile, comment on their blog and tell them that what they said wasn't nice. Don't freak out at them, just tell them to stop.
If they continue to comment on your blog and still say nasty things about you, then tell someone.

Dont's :

Let them get you down! Move on with your life. Think about ... flowers, rainbows, unicorns, sheep. Well maybe not them, but think about something that calms you and can make you happy!
Freak out at them and start cursing! Even though they left a hater comment, be in the calmest position ever. You can get a bad reputation for you blog, and then get no views.

2. Grammar and Words

I cannot stress this enough. Sometimes you can use words that do not make sense to anyone else, or words that are spelled wrong. I have made these mistakes numerous times, and have tried to fix them every blog post. But, that is why there is spell check! It can make everything you write better and fix any mistakes that you have. Blogger has a built in one and can highlight words if they are wrong (only if you click it will it highlight it) and then you can fix it! Hooray for Blogger!

Do's :

Use spell check every time you blog post! It can help people understand you words more and make it a more fluent post. Also, make sure your grammar is right, or it might end up like this :

Re - read your post when you are done to make sure everything is in it's right place and nothing is wrong.

Don'ts:

Use words that people do not know or are not sure of. I have to admit, I do this all of the time, but am working it off. If you use superzzzs, just right super! or something along that range. This will make your readers love you!
Make your readers have to comment down below and tell you something is spelled wrong or "something is off... ", because then you will lose readers for your poor spell checks. This one is basically summarizing what I just said. Way to go Lucy.

3. Followers

This one is probably the one that everyone worries about. Who reads their blog, who likes it and dislikes it, and who follows. This was always a big one for me, because I thought that no one read it except for my mom and dad and friends that I told. So, I went to blogs just to say " follow me and I will give you a prize on Stardoll... " and then they would follow and never read it or comment. I do wish I could take that back and just have followers who read my blog, but can't. Sad.

Do's :

Comment on other sites, saying how you love their blog, but don't leave your blog name. It will sound like you want them just to follow you. If they come to your blog, they come to your blog.
ADVERTISE! Try to get your blog everywhere and anywhere ( have people favor it as one of their most favorite bloggers, etc. ) so people can see it.

Don'ts :

Make people come to your site, just because they want a follower. You have to wait, and that is one of the keys in blogging. One day, you WILL get a follower, no matter if it is a stranger or someone you know.
Leave comments on blogger's sites like :

Cute dress! Follow me? www.lucyplease.blogspot.com

Then no one will come, because you just want them to come and see your blog. It is one of the many things bloggers do when they first start out.

Wooo! Back with another Link Love! Since I had a four day weekend ( be jealous. very jealous ), I had too much time to read my favorite blogs. I got a new layout (cha - ching) that I hopefully will stick with me for a while. I like it, but now I have to go and fix it because it shows two of the same posts on the same page! Grrrrr Blogger. And this might be the last Link Love for a while, because I always forget and I feel like it is limiting the posts of my blog. But, you might see one from me next week, you might not.

Dear Winnie - This blog is open letters to Anna Wintour about fashion (of course), beauty, and everything else. Because I love Anna Wintour, I am obsessed with this blog and how she writes about everything I love. Love the blog to the top.

Marielle Speaks - I always loved her blog, but have been reading it more frequently this week. I love her necklace in her recent post and loved what the student wrote about her. Overall, she could possibly be my best friend if I knew her in real life. Love!

Independent Fashion Bloggers - I know I talk about this blog all of the time, but they just had their Evolving Fashion Blogger Conference and posted all of the reviews and videos from it, so I have been stalking the blog. They actually just posted the Proenza Schouler video, so I am going to watch that a million times after this.

Lucky Sparkle - I am probably one of the many bloggers who check out the new followers blog when they follow. So, one of my new subscribers had a wonderful blog, and I just HAD to blog about it and include it here! The vintage pieces that she found were AMAZING and I need them so bad, and her niece is so cute! So, definitely go and check her out, because her blog is amazing. No joke.

Soooooo, guess what?

I got the Vogue March Issue. Woot - woot!

I knew that Lady Gaga was on the cover, but I didn't know it was going to be as big as the September Issue. Since I got it yesterday, I haven't really read much of it, considering that they are all ads, but the ads are really inspirational.

In the Lady Gaga article, it talks about her new album Born This Way, and has amazing photo shoot pictures of her. But that is not the only thing I bought this magazine for. I also bought it for the trends, photo shoots, and writers. The clothes that they wear are amazing, and I would love to live in them for the rest of my life ( that would be awesomely cool ). I would totally recommend this magazine to anyone out there who is a designer and needs inspiration! Here is a video on how excited I was when I got this magazine :

Hi. So, sorry for the lateness of the Link Love for today. If you haven't realized, today is Valentine's Day and Single Awareness Day! So, if you are lonely, I am too. So you are not the only one sister! I have recently joined BlogLovin, which is a site where you can follow some of your favorite blogs and get the latest news on them all in one site! Pretty cool, huh? You can follow my blog on there if you would like. Now, to the good part - blogs!

All Things Marie - I recently just found her blog, and it is truly wonderful. I forget how I found it, but I fell in love. Since the Grammys were last night, she is posting all of the best and worst dresses. So, that is my addiction at night time :).

Birdy and Me - This blog is all about illustration, which I love when blogs are about that. But, she is one of the best fashion design artists I have ever seen. I mean really, you need to go to her blog right now and check it! Her designs have been featured in Nylon and movie posters.

The Sartorialist - This blog features street styles from many different places, like the one he just did featuring Anna Wintour in New York. He is a wonderful fashion blogger and I love how he is blogging about Fashion Week!

I think I am going to do 3 - 4 blogs a week, depending on what blogs I am loving!

Lush Haulage

I know I go to Lush too much, so don't judge. But, I have waited a whole month and a half to go to Lush, and I have been running low. Real low on products that I needed. And I still hadn't picked up any of their new Valentines Day stuff that I blogged about a few weeks ago. I am loving photo blogs now, so I decided to do that instead of filming a long video, where I ramble on about my life too much. So, let's get started

The Lush that I go to was having a party today and had these little cards left out. So, I stole a bunch of them and ran. Just kidding, but I did get this one ( considering it was the only one ) and am hanging it on my mirror now :)

Dream Wash :

A Shower Smoothie that helps eczema, psoriasis, or keratosis pilaris ( which I have very bad on my arms ) go away and become less irritating. If you love the Dream Cream smell, this one is definitely for you. It is enriched with aloe vera, chamomile, and calamine to really hydrate and soothe the skin. PS. Does anyone know if you have to mix this first? Because it is a clay consistency in the store.

Honey Trap Lip Balm :

Smells exactly like Honey I Washed The Kids, which I want to eat. Their lip balms are pretty amazing, and can heal your lips fast. I keep on going back to my Whipstick one, which I adore. Made with honey

(which moisturizes) and white chocolate (which adds the delicious flavor and makes you want to eat it.)

Ex - Factor Bath Bomb :

This is probably the cutest bath bomb I have seen. He is blue and has a little pink heart, which holds the wonderful smell of this bath bomb. His name is Pablo 2 ( you will only get the joke if you read my other post on Lush and their Valentines Day products ) and I might marry him. It smells like vanilla and lingers on your skin for hours!

It's Raining Men Shower Gel :

I finally got my hands on this one! YAY! They were all sold out of the big and small sizes at my store, so I had to settle for the small one. Sigh. But, it smells so amazing and good, I want to drink it ( which no one should do! ). I tried this on my hands and the lather is amazing and lingers on you skin for hours. Smells exactly like Honey Trap, Honey I Washed The Kids, and Honey Bee.

Love Bird Soap ( not able to find online ) :

This soap was the one with the pretty, cake like detailing on the front. Personally, I didn't like the smell, nor did I hate it. But, I still wanted to try it, because it was a okay smell. Sadly, this piece does not have any detailing on it, but it is the smell that counts, right?

Happy Valentines Day!

So,

Sorry for the earliness. Like every week, I put up my Link Love on Mondays, so it would kind of be confusing if I put up two posts in one day. But anyway, I wanted to wish you all a happy Valentine's Day! No matter if you are single, or madly in love ( sorry Kurt Hummel, kind of stole your line ), Valentine's Day is awesome. Hearts are everywhere, couples are cuter than ever, and the whole earth is filled with love. I am going to be spending it alone ( tear ), but I can not wait for Single Awareness Day

(which is on Valentines Day), because me and my friend are going to watch " Phantom of the Opera ", which she is obsessed with. Everyone probably needs to listen to the song above, because it is the best. I literally watched this Glee episode over and over, and it made me cry over and over, because I am a cry baby. Go watch it and find out for yourself. To conclude, I wanted to wish you all a very happy Valentines Day and Single Awareness Day!

Confessions of a Beautyholic - I love this blog. So. So. So. Much. She is very friendly, nice, and loves Lush, like me! On her blog, it has ever beauty item you could ever imagine, so her blog is superb.

Igor and Andre - Okay, if you have not seen his blog, you are probably a little crazy. All this guy does on his blog is post wonderful, amazing drawings and fashions at fashion shows. I have gone through every post of his and have loved every single one.

Top 5 New Spring Styles

Hey bloggers,

Today I wanted to do a post that was related to spring fashion, but I was questioning myself if I should do it or not, so I did it anyway because I am a risk-taker. I saw the article in Teen Vogue and I knew I needed to do a blog post on it to inform you guys. So, yeah. All of the pictures I got from Ployvore, so you can check them out if you find them intriguing, I guess. Let's get started.... now.

1. Funky, Fun Patterns

In the spring, you have a chance to express yourself through color, because it is so warm and nice outside. So, funky colors and patterns are a must on no matter what kind of clothing. They can spruce up any outfit and make you look amazing!

2. Long Skirts

Again another must for spring, even though sometimes they can be hard to walk in because they are so long. They can usually make your legs look a little longer and are really great to wear any day - especially to bed. Just kidding on that last one, or am I?

3. Turbans

Turbans are really cute, especially in the spring because you can use them as a way to brighten up your hair or just plainly fix a bad hair day. I love this one from Nordstrom's because it goes along with the funky print.

4. Sperry's

Oh, Sperry's. They are so comfy and are perfect for the spring with a turban and a cute skirt or something along those lines. They come in many funky colors and are adorable, no matter what season.

5. White Jeans

I really don't know if these will be big for anyone else in the spring, but I might be wearing them ever day. They are white and can go along with basically anything. The only con is that if you spill something on it, you cannot hide it....

Independent Fashion Blogger Conference Update!

A couple weeks back, I blogged about the Independent Fashion Blogger Conference that was being held in New York. If you didn't read that post, you can click here to read it. Tickets went on sale probably a week ago, and sold out as fast as you could read this post. Sadly, I did not get tickets. And therefore, I will not be attending, :'(. But, I am fine with that, because they will be live streaming the event! So if you weren't able to get tickets, turn the frown upside down. When it is the day of the conference, I will post a chat box here and a video, in case you guys want to watch it on this wonderful and amazing blog. Also, Independent Fashion Bloggers is having a contest right now to win one ticket to the conference! Isn't that amazing?! All you have to do is :

I had a little bit of trouble finding what to blog about today, so I figured I would this kind of blog post. Basically, it is products I need right now. Like, really bad. I just came back from sledding, so these products would be greatly appreciated now. If you guys are craving any products or clothes right now, comment down below, because I am lonely right now. Tearr....

This shower gel smells like " Honey I Washed The Kids " and I need it so, so bad. Even though I have one too many shower gels, I can totally make room for about 100 bottles of this one in my stash. So mom, if you are reading this, I need this faster than you can read this post. Please?

It's bedazzled! I like how it has a variety of beads and studs on it, instead of just the same color. Even though I would break a leg in one of them, I would still wear them right now, because they are so cool.

Ahh, oversized sweaters. They are so comfy, but cute at the same time. I wish I could just snuggle up in one right now with my book. That would be luxurious and wonderful, it isn't even funny.

I love cardigans, but I really need this one now. I love the puffy sleeves of this and how it looks very nautical and whimsical, if that makes sense to anyone. The color is amazing, too, even though it is like very other color.

Lush Tag, You're it!

Hey bloggers,

So, I wanted to do a blog post today, but I didn't know what to blog about because I never know. Then I found this amazing tag that someone had created called ........ the Lush tag. Yes, you got that right. A LUSH TAG! I freaked out in my chair while reading this. So, if you want to do this and you are into Lush, go right ahead, because everyone should do this tag. So, yeah. I was going to film this tag, but I don't feel good because I sang so much last night, and I am better at typing. Okay, lets get started.

1. How did you get into LUSH?
I got into LUSH by watching a makeup video on YouTube, and then in the suggestion bar, there was a
"LUSH Haul" video by JuicyStar07, I think. I clicked on it and fell in love. Then I watched so much more until I begged my mom and dad to take me to the store. That's the story.

2. How much money do you spend at LUSH?
If I haven't gone in a while, I usually spend 40.00 - 50.00 at LUSH ( they love me there because I spend so much ) and if I gone last month or something and just need some things, I will spend about 25.00 - 30.00.

3. What's your all time favourite product from LUSH?
I am going to kind of cheat on this one and name a few of the products I love. Honey I Washed The Kids Soap, Snow Fairy Lip Tint, Porridge Soap, So White Bath Bomb, and Iced Wine Shower Jelly.

4. Favourite Section from LUSH?
Bath Bomb or Soap Section. I could get lost in there without anyone knowing it. Also, there is such a variety of products in those sections.

5. When did you get into LUSH?
I got into LUSH in January of 2010. I got into it when the big sales for the Christmas stuff had started. It was like heaven to me when I saw all of that stuff. Love.

6. How many people did you get into LUSH?
I got 4 people into Lush, you could say. My friend, sister, mom, and me. I know I don't really count, but I found out about it first, right? IDK.

7. Why do you love/hate LUSH?
I love LUSH because I feel like I belong there, if you know what I mean. The employees are like me, and they are always very helpful and kind to anyone that steps in the door. Sadly, my favorite employee of the store moved and went to another LUSH. And she was the one that gave me the LUSH bag. Tearrr.

8. Do you feel guilty once you've spent all that money on LUSH?
Yes, very. For Christmas, I got a LUSH gift card, and I spent all of it, except for a few dollars. So, I got so upset in the store, it wasn't even funny. But, when I haven't gone in a while, I don't feel guilty or sad.

9. How many times have you read your LUSH Times?
1,000. I have 3 copies of each one and I love them. I usually spend just one day reading them and seeing how LUSH has changed through the years I have been shopping there.

10. How did your first LUSH experience feel?
It felt great. I felt proud and good inside because I found a store that I will definitely come back to.

Independent Fashion Blogger Conference - 2011

Guess what? The Fashion Blogger Conference is back! I am so excited this year, I can barely keep my head on myself. If you have never heard of this conference, it is where fashion bloggers come and talk about fashion and blogging - my two favorite things! Last year The Style Rookie ( Tavi Gevinson ) , Style Bubble ( Sussie Bubble ) , and BryanBoy were there. And if they are there this year, I might collapse. This conference is held in New York City, during Fashion Week, so good luck if any of you are going. But, I would love to go to New York Fashion Week, because Christian Siriano is showing. Christian, I love you with all of my heart. I even have your book in my locker with heart around it. All of my friends think I am crazy, but that is okay. Back to what I was saying, it might be a struggle getting there. But, I heard that they will be streaming it from there. So, I might sprint home to watch this after school. No list has been posted yet on who will be there, but I really hope Tavi Gevinson will come, Susie Bubble, All That Lace, and Sea of Shoes will be there. If any of you guys go, please tell me how it was. I am also looking forward to the Chictopia conference, but that is like later in the month, right? I am not sure.

Lush Valentines Day Products? I think I am in love.

Just a short time ago, Lush released their Valentines Day products for 2011. Being the Lush freak I am, I just had to blog about it! It is not available on Lush's UK or USA websites just yet, but just wanted to inform you all. Two of their Valentines day products are from last year, but the rest are new this year, so I am like freaking out here. FREAKING OUT.

" It's Raining Men " Shower Gel

" It's Raining Men " smells like the ever so famous " Honey I Washed The Kids, " which I will be stocking up on. The honey and toffee smell are perfect for cold, February days. Sorry boys, I think I have already found my Valentine this year. :).

" The Ex-Factor " bath bomb

This cute, blue and pink - hearted bath bomb is supposed to smell like the most moisturizing bath bomb in Lush's history - Butterball. When you look at this, you don't think it would look moisturizing, but people say it is form last year. I think I am going to save this bath bomb and never use it. Maybe name it .... Pablo.

" The Magic Mushroom " Bubble bar

Magic Mushroom has that " Yummy Yummy Yummy " smell, because it has a strawberry smell on the top, with a vanilla scent on the bottom. I would pair this with Ms. Whippy bath bomb for a very creamy bath. I might eat my bath tub if I use this. Nomnomnom.

" Love Birds " Soap

Love Birds soap has a very pretty soap detail, which will make me think it is cake. This soap smells like the bath bomb " Keep It Fluffy, " which has a jasmine and vanilla smell to it. Don't really know if I will buy this, but the design is to die for.

" Frog Prince " bath bomb

Frog Prince bath bomb is very unique for Valentines day. The lips part is a actually a bath melt, so if you kiss it, it makes your lips very moisturizing. The smell is like fresh picked flowers. And you might turn the frog into the love of your life. Your choice.

Best Trends of 2010

Hey guyss,

I really had nothing else to do today after school, because my back is like broken, so I pre-typed this blog for Friday. I couldn't resist to put it up, though. Anywho, the blog post topic today is "Best Trends of 2010." Now, all trends of 2010 that were fashion - related were my favorites, but these were amazing. Like amazing amazing. And you guys might not agree with me, but that is okay :P.

1. Oxfords
I ADORE ADORE THESE. I feel like these shoes just as a vintage touch to everything and goes with everything ( well, make not everything, but you get the idea ) very well. Some of my favorite ones color wise are the white and brown ones that have a manilla color tie. Ahh, now if only I could live with them forever.

2. Striped Sweaters
These sweaters are the cutest sweaters I have every come across. I don't know why, but I have an obsessions with them. They have a style of cuteness and vintage, while still keeping it modern, which I love. I could eat them.

3. Loop Scarfs
Loop scarfs look so much better than regular ones. They are so chunky and warm, I could die in one. So if any of you come to my funeral, please bury me in Forever21 loop scarfs. I wanted a knitted one from Forever21, but can't seem to find one. Is there any other place I could get them?

4. Boyfriend Cardigans
Not a lot of people wore these in this year, because a lot of people wore fly - aways, which were also big. But, boyfriend cardigans are so very comfy and cute. I especially like them with a thin belt around your waist. Uber cute!

5. Jeggings
Now I don't own a pair of these, but they were a really food trend in 2010. A lot of people found them more comfortable than other jeans. But they look exactly like jeans, it is hard to tell. Overall, they are my favorite leggings this year.

Worst Trends of 2010 ( Series of the best/worst of 2010. )

Hey guys,

Today I wanted to do a fashion post, and since everyone was doing a " look back " I guess you could say on 2010, I decided I would do one on fashion. Now, I will have a series of these going all through January, so one day I might be doing " The Best Trends of 2010," and then the next day I might be doing " Best Style Icons of 2010," and so on. So, yeah. And make sure you check out the new Teen Vogue, because my name is on the front cover! No, not my full name, actually, Lucy Hale is on the cover! I <3 her so much. And my little mommy bird told me that there is a new one on tonight, Monday 1/3, so I think I might be laying in bed here, reading that magazine and watching it. Life will be good.

1. Sweatpants with Uggs

( Hayden Panettiere.)

This is probably the worst trend.... ever. But, I have been seeing it a lot more this year than probably any other year. I mean, really? To me, it does personally not look cute, and it frankly, just looks like you are lazy. If I was wearing Uggs, I would pair them with a skinny jean ( preferably skinny jeans from Target )

and a nice cardigan. This look just looks LaZy!

2. Ladybug Sunglasses

These glasses just look like big, ladybug eye sunglasses! They make your eyes look a lot bigger in a way and personally, this was the worst trend I have seen all year. They were a big hit in the summer and idk why, but they were. Also, they make your face look like you are a chipmunk. Just saying....

3. Silly Bandz

Even though kids LOVED them, adults were starting to wear them and people were like 30- 40 wristbands on them at once. And I love them, but I they might have been for kids. Also because my cat

started to eat them.

4. Nerd Glasses

I think everyone wants to be a nerd because every girl at my school wore these glasses once. This girl right here is lucky enough to already be a nerd * pushes up glasses and snorts.* And they are so big, too, and now you can probably tell that I absolutely hate big glasses.

5. Destroyed - destroyed jeans

Destroyed jeans can look good on some people, while others destroy their jeans even more. Some fashion bloggers style their jeans really good, but some people style it with a sheer top, and it makes me wanna puke. No offense.

Hey everyone!

Now, I know a lot of you had read my last post, about my grandma being sick. She is still sick, but is a little bit better. And I couldn't go away from this blog for a month! I would be crying in a corner of how much I miss you guys. But, I just wanted to say Happy New Year to you all! I feel that 2011 is going to a great year for me and the blog, because my horoscope said so ( well, about me, at least. ). Last year was great for this blog and I hope it will stay like that, at least for a little while. You, the followers, and the readers have really earned a spot in my book for never saying a negative comment about the blog and never showing hate, which I am so grateful for. I know sometimes I get off of my game, by not blogging about fashion, and you guys still stick with me. So, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you. And I am pretty sure you guys know that I can never keep a resolution, so here are some of my goals for the blog.

Put up more fashion posts
Create a email for the blog
Get over 50 - 60 followers this year. You will be my best friend if you follow. jk...
Maybe get a non-blogger domain name ( which might never happen, but this is goals, right? )

Maybe start a second blog

Hey y'all...

I was actually thinking that I wasn't going to put up a blog post today, but I was in the blogging mood, kind of. Anywho, I have been soo in the spirit for Christmas, it isn't even funny. All of my teachers have given me candy canes today and I have eaten every one of them ( even though the one that my math teacher bought kind of tasted like bananas ) , the Christmas tree in my house is all lit up and hung, I am kind of obsessed with hot chocolate, even though I drink it in the summer, and I am going to wear reindeer antlers to school tomorrow and on my trip. Thumbs up for that, dog. This blog post is mainly about things that I am OBSESSED with when it comes to winter time! Make sure you leave your comments down below to tell me what your favorites are! Without further ado, let's get started.

1. Christmas Music

I don't really know what it is with Christmas music, but I am OBSESSED. Sometimes it is so much better than regular music, but other times it isn't. Glee's Christmas Music is the bomb. So if you haven't listened to it, Sue Sylvester and Becky are going to come to your house and wreck your Christmas tree. Jk, jk. Or am I jk-ing?

2. Christmas Sweaters!

I adore Christmas sweaters! They are always so fun and winter-y and they make me really, really excited. Kind of like this one! I love all of the reindeers and then the one at the end is Rudolph! So very, very cute. Do you think I could maybe eat the sweater?

3. Winter Candles!

Winter candles always smell delicious, and sometimes they even smell better than regular candles! My favorites are Apple Cinnamon, Homemade Cookies, Frosted Cupcake, Cinnamon Stick, Leaves, and Winter. Yummyy.

4. Snow!

I think this completes everything about winter and Christmas. I mean, it is snow, people! Who doesn't love snow? Crazy people. Where I live, it hasn't been snowing that much, but I hear we are supposed to have a white Christmas, which I am jumping off the walls about.

How to start a blog.

Hey guysssss,
I have been loving the blog Independent Fashion Bloggers, which everyone should check out, even if you are not starting a blog, and I totally like felt inspired to do a blog post about starting up your own blog and getting good reviews from it! I have been blogging for a year and a half or so, just to inform you on what's a happening. Okay, let's get to it!

1. Blog name
Your blog name is one of the most important features of your blog, basically, because when people go to look at your blog, they will kind of get a gist of what it is about. Now, I have a kind of weird story behind it. I loved the Amanda Show when I was younger, and there was this girl, and her name was Penelope. Penelope was OBSESSED with Amanda ( Amanda Bynes played Amanda ) and she had this fansite called " AmandaPlease." Me and my wonderful and delightful :) mother were talking one day abotu how that would be a cute blog name. Sure enough, a couple days later, I was making a blog. Now LucyPlease doesn't really describe what I blog about, which is fashion, but it is kind of like a cliffhanger name a little bit, because they want to know what it is about. So now some do's and don'ts of picking your blog name.

DO NOT :

Pick a name that would be offensive to anyone.
Pick a name that you would not remember.
Pick a name that no one understands.
Don't make it very long, short and sweet is the way to go :).

DO:

Try to relate it to what you are going to blog about.

Make it appropriate.

2. Blog posts

So now that you have gotten your domain name down, it is now time to tell you how to blog correctly! This is one of my pet peeves of blogging, because I find that people blog too much and blog once a year! When you blog, you want to even out the days of when you post. Right now, I am trying to blog evert 3-4 days, just to keep my blog updated. When people blog too much ( like one every hour ), people will get lost in all of your posts and you will probably not get any followers. And if you blog too little, no one will read it, because they want to see updated posts! Also, spelling is another big one. Use the spelling dictionary and word check! People always get letters mixed up ( I have done it a couple times myself :P) and it will sometimes turn off readers. Now for the do's and don'ts!

DON'T:

Confuse your readers by going off topic.
Put too many blog posts up at once.
Put too many links in your blogs. People will probably get confused.
Put unknown words in there!

DO:

Try your best to stay on subject.
Put links to pages, but only 3-5 in a blog post.
If you want, put one up a day, but space out your time!
If you need to spell check a word or look it up, use the resource!
Have fun doing it! That's what blogging is al about, isn't it?

3. Comments.

Comments can get a little hectic sometimes, depending on your stream of viewers. Right now, since I have 37 gorgeous, and amazing followers, I am starting to feel the craziness. Also, if you have a lot of spam comments, it can get crazy. You can put them on comment moderation, but IFB said that they don't even want to comment if that is there. So, I recommend not putting it on moderation, just watching every single comment that goes up. Also, when you are reading the comments, it is always nice to go and check out their blog and comment, because they took the time to comment on your blog.

4. Layout.

Layouts are some-what important when you have a blog, because it can represent you. I recently got a layout from SuckMyLolly, which has amazing layouts and I find it is a lot easier for my toaccess than the other template designer. Personally, I like when people have a layout from someone else on their blog because it shows their sense of style a little bit, you know? Idddkkkk. I just personally like layout ones better.

Blehhhhhhh....

I am always sick around the winter time, have you noticed? I have the worst headache ever, a stomach ache, and a sore throat. And I have missed two days of school, so I will have a boatload to do when I go back. But the worst part about it is that I can't go to my school dance tonight because I am sick. IT IS THE WORST. So, yeah. Are any of you on the sick wagon? Everyone at my school is like straight up sick. People are coughing left and right, and throwing up in the hallways. I was going to my French class and the guy in front of me let it loose and it smelled up the whole hall. Then I got sick. So, thank you guy who did that right in front of me. And now I think I might have gotten more sicker from the many Luden's cough drops that I had. I think now I am going to go watch some more of the Pretty Little Liars episodes that I have watched over and over again and maybe watch some of the Sing- Off or watch some CSI. So many choices, so little time.

Winter Skin Care!

Hey everyone!

So, right now, I am sitting in from of my beautiful Christmas tree, listening to my sister sing to my cat " All I Want For Christmas Is You ", and typing a blog post for you guys! I wanted to do one of these because I wanted to share some ways to keep your skin not so dry in the winter and hydrated! Personally, I have oily skin, but I do get a really, really dry face in the winter ( especially around my nose ) so I find that I need a good winter skin care routine to make my skin glamorous to the top of that pyramid. Holler to your mother with that one. I will be listing a Lush skin care routine and a drugstore one if you want a more cheaper routine.

Lush Routine!

1. Cleanser
9 to 5 is a lotion based cleanser, which is for dry skin. I love this for my skin because it does make my skin very hydrated and feeling fresh, kind of like a baby's bottom. When I apply this, I put my toner on before so the lotion feel can last a lot longer and I will touch my face a lot longer.

2. Toner
Toners work wonders for people with dry or oily skin, because it is getting off all impurities from your face and hydrating it, also. A great one for oily skin in " Tea Tree Water." Personally, I like to use before I used the cleanser because I can get off more dirt.

3. Moisturizer
This moisturizer is for very dry skin, which is a little savior in a pot for some. This cream is supposed to be very thick, so it is very hydrating. Another good moisturizer from Lush is Full of Grace Face Serum ( not a lotion. Kinda like a massage bar.)

Drugstore Skin Care Routine!

1. Cream Cleanser. Holler!
Cream Cleansers are always good for your skin, especially in the winter time for dry skin. Neutrogena has always been a favorite brand of mine and I have heard so many good things about their cream cleanser. Next time I go to Target, I might pick up some myself!

2. Toner.
Especially in the winter time, you do not want to buy toners with alcohol in them. All this does is make your skin uber dry and flaky. This one is probably the only one I have seen in the drugstore without any alcohol in it.

I think Cetaphil will always be the go- to brand for dry, winter skin. This one is especially good for dry skin because it is made for that. I actually use to use Cetaphil for my chicken skin, but then I think it got really, really old so uh yeah.

Black Friday Gift Guide and Madness!

Hopefully everyone had a good Thanksgiving and a good Black Friday. Me being such a wimp, I do not go out on Black Friday, fearing that I will get run over by crazy people. But, I wanted to tell you some good deals at certain stores that will have your jaw dropping (maybe). Even though Black Friday is basically over, these deals will probably last until today. Also, there is another sale day that happens and that is Cyber Monday, where most of the online stores offer AMAZING deals. So, lets get started!

1. Target
Target always has really good deals, but I think this year they have the best. Here are some of them that I think are the best deals :

1. Remingtion 1" Print Hair Straightener - $14.00 ( originally 20.00. ) You can also choose your print, I believe.
2. Womens Puffer Vest - 7.50 ( originally 15.00 )
3. Singer 1409 Promise Sewing Machine - 59.00 ( originally 90.00. )
4. Womens Fashion Scarves - 5.00 ( originally 10.00 )
These are just some of the deals that I think are really good buys this year ( especially the straightener :).

2. Walmart
Walmart only has a one-day sale, ( which is only in Black Friday ) so if you didn't have a chance to go out and snag these deals, here were some of the major ones for me.

1. Brother Limited Edition Project Runway Sewing Machine - 50.00 ( no available original price. )
Wally World didn't have any other good products for sale on Black Friday, so I only found one.

Joanne's is having a 3 day sale, so you can have more time to shop and drop (if you grab too much items. )

2. Holiday Inspirations Christmas Fabrics - 50% off ( between 3.49 and 9.99 )

Some of these things were just on sale today, while others are on sale for 6 days and 9 days! I really recommend going to their site and seeing the deals.

4. Bath and Body Works
As like Walmart, this store is only having a one day sale. But some of there deals are really good and you should snatch them up while you can!

1. 50% off all accessories (such as tote bags, socks, etc. ) - Ranging from 3.00 to 36.00 with the percentage off.
2. Candles - 2 for 20.00 ( some of my favorites are Homemade Cookies and Vanilla Bean Noel. )
3. Wallflowers - 5.00 ( originally 12.50. )
4. Holiday Anti-Bacterial Hand Soaps - 4 for $15.00 of 6 for 20.00 ( the price of one is usually 5.00 )

Hey everyone!

Today I figured I would do a tag and this would be a fun one. Now, since I haven't done that many fashion posts in a while, I figured this blog is just going to be random about what I like and kind of what and pre-teeners like in the worlddd. So uhh yeah. Juicystar07 ( also known as Blair Fowler ) just did a 17 Random Questions Video Tag ( link here ) so I figured I would do this little tag! I am tagging everyone out there to do this, so go run down to the comment sections and start typing! So, lets get started!

1. How did you get your blog name? One day, me and my mom were talking in the kitchen about the Amanda Show ( I <3 that show ) and how that one girl always said "Amanda

Please " and she was joking around about how that would be a cute blog name. Sure enough, a couple days later, I was making a blog and LucyPlease was the blog name!

2. If you could change your name to anything, what would it be and why? Well, I have always wanted my name to be Elizabeth because it sounds very pretty, lets just say.

3. If you could go back in time and give your younger self advice, what would it be and why? Well, if I could go back to when I first started middle school, I would tell myself to not have bullies take you over, thank goodness for books when you need them at the cafeteria, and that you might be lonely, but its okay.

4. How old were you when you first learned to blow a bubblegum bubble? I would say maybe 8. It took me like forever because I kept swallowing the gum and didn't know how to chew it. And then a year later, I finally learned how to!

5. What did you want to be when you were little? I wanted to be what every kid wanted to be. A teacher. But now that I think of it, I want to be more of a nurse that lives in NY and also has a fashion career.

6. What do you order at starbucks? Since I am not allowed coffee, I always get a medium hot chocolate with whip cream. YUUUUMMMMM. But there white peppermint mocha sounds good, also.

7. What's the hardest you ever laughed? The hardest I have ever laughed would probably be when I am with my friends or my mom and dad. I don't have a specific moment, but I always laugh hard when I am with them.

8. If you could play any musical instrument, which would it be and why? Well, I already play the violin, but if I could play another instrument I would probably have to play the guitar because it is awesome, duhhh.

9. What's your favorite thing to do when your upset? I don't really have a favorite thing to do, but I guess just cry it all out. And get in comfy clothes :).

10. What's your favorite movie? I don't really have a favorite movie. I know, it is like really weird, but I haven't found that good movie yet. But I have a feeling that when I watch Jaws, it might possibly be my favorite!

11. What's one food you can not live without? OOOOOOOH. I have many foods that I can't live without, so I am just going to list them. Greek salad, Stacy's Pita Chips, Chicken Fajita Wrap ( at Applebees ) , Bologna and Mustard on a pita sandwich, and stuffing. Yummmmm!

12. What's your favorite dessert? My favorite dessert is Jello Mousse or if we have it in the house, Mint Choco Chip Ice Cream.

13. Favorite pizza topping? My favorite pizza topping is spinach with feta cheese or broccoli pizza.

14. Would you rather have the superpower to read minds, or the superpower to be invisible?I guess I would want the power to be invisible because then you could do whatever you really wanted!

15. What did you do for your last birthday? I went downtown with my wonderful and magnificent mommy and we spent the whole day downtown and went out to lunch and all. Then we just had a family birthday party with cake. I don't really want friend b-day parties now, just family :).

16. If you had one personal "selfish" wish, what would it be and why? I really don't know if this would count as a selfish wish, but my wish is to get all A's in school and meet Taylor Swift or Paul McCartney.

17. What does OMGHHKP mean to you? If you don't know where this came from, it is from a beauty vlogger on Youtube and her name is Juicystar07. In one of her haul videos, she said " OMGHHKP, I don't know what that means, but my room is navy blue " or something like that. So, what it means to me is : Oh My Gosh Happy Hello Kitty Party. Yeah, I am not that creative.

Retainer video!

Hey everyone! Since I was off from school today, I figured I would film a video and actually put it up! I had gotten my retainer yesterday ( Monday, November 1rst ) and it is purple glittery! Also, I talk really weird in this video, so excuse my mispronunciations in this video. Anyways, enjoy!

No more refrigerator in my mouth!

Hey everyone,

So, guess what? I got my braces off! I am no more : braceface, ironman, or metalmouth! YESSSSS. I got them off unexpectedly today, at my orthodontist appointment. And lemme tell you, I felt happy and sad at the same time. The happy part was that I was getting them off and I would be free, but the sad part was that it wasn't apart of my profile anymore. But, retainers will soon be next week! If you are getting braces, there is really nothing to worry about. It does hurt when you get them on, but for only 2-4 days and you have to take really good care of them. I took care of them like they were a newborn and I got them off 2 months early and didn't have any stains on them! Also, you can't eat any delectable foods ( even though I cheated on some.....shhhhhh) like gum, caramel apples, caramel, and other things that will get stuck in your teeth and might get you in trouble by your doctor. Other than that, they don't hurt at all unless you have a major problem with your braces. But taking them off, they do hurt. I again, just got mine off today and they had to scrape off the glue and it really does feel like someone is pounding your teeth. This is not to scare anyone, too, so please don't get scared! But it is different for all people. And then, you are free! I have a Snickers bar and delected on all of the food and candy that my dentist gave me. Ahhhhh. The taste of a Snicker bar is like ahhmmaazzzzinnnnggg. Like, you don't know. But, I am getting a retainer next week ( purple with glitter people, oh yeah ) so I will also update you guys on that. But, to end this off, I though I would show you some pictures of me with braces and not with braces!

New Polyvore Sets!

Hey everyone!

So, I figured I HAD to get a blog post up soon, or it would possibly drive everyone a little crazy, so I wanted to do some more Polyvore sets! I really like how these came out ( I am super tired so I thought I would do like really bad :). Hopefully you guys enjoy these little sets that I made and I will talk to y'all laterzzz!

I absolutely love the color green, so I had to do something to represent! It kind of reminds me of Christmas, but without Santa.

I did this one in honor of Breast Cancer awareness month. And also, because I really like the color pink.

A lot. A lot a lot. Also, I love the believe and courage signs and that it has O.P.I in it :).

Again, since it was October and orange is like the 2nd popular color in October, I figured I would do this one also. It reminded me of pumpkins and hot chocolate and Starbucks. And don't forget Lush!

Fall Fashions 101.

Hey everyone!

I am back! Yes, it has been a while, but it's all better, BECAUSE I AM BLOGGING! Holler. Two words for you : sick and schoolwork. I recently got sick with a sore throat and a loss for blogging, and then school work has really hit me in the face. It's like a tornado came with a bunch of books and slapped them in my face. Owwwwww. So yeah, that's my excuse. But, onto the fashion. I wanted to do a blog post on fall fashion, like I do every season. Remember, this is just my opinion and you do not have to agree with what my delicious picks are. So without further ado, lets get started!

1. Cardigans, cardigans, cardigans...

Even though these are always in, they're in again this fall. Personally, I think they always add a touch of spice to your look and what you are wearing. Wear them with your favorite dress or with a casual outfit, but don't wear them with sweats. Just... don't.

2. Sweat-eat-rs. ( They don't really eat sweat, trust me. )

Again, these are like cardigans. I like to wear sweaters with my school polo shirts and my black jeans with my awesome converse, but you can also wear them with anything!

3. Scarve!

Scarves are again, always in, but I think this year the will become a big hit! Nude scarves, braided scarves, and of course, Burberry scarves will all be in again this year.

4. Leggings.

Leggings this year will be really rocking the trendsetting list. Grays and blacks of course, but nudes might also be a favorite this year, too.

5. Dresses.

Now in the fall, it is way to cold sometimes for dresses, but you could totally wear them with a cardigan, leggings and flats! I love the way sun dresses or vintage dresses look with these.

Now.... random fall things that I lovvvveeeee <3

1. Candles

OMGHHKP! I lovvee candles! Even though I am not aloud to have one in my room, they are still the bomb! I love the way " Macintosh " from Yankee Candle smells for fall and also " Vanilla Cupcake! "

2. Hot Chocolateee.

This will probably always be one of my favorites, but I find that hot chocolate tastes so much better in the fall! Wouldn't you agree?

3. Fall eyeshadows.

I usually don't wear makeup or anything, just a moisturizer, but I love the way fall eyeshadows look on anyones face! My favorite kind of color is like a copper color. Looks amazing!

4. Lush Christmas products!!!!!!!!

I love Lush, but there x-mas products are amazing! They have some fall things that I need : Cinders, Gingerbread House, Glögg, Snow Fairy, So White and basically everything else!

I'm back!!!!!!!

How you doin' ( insert Wendy Williams face expression when she says that.) I am back! I know, I haven't blogged in forever! I have uber busy this week ( volleyball tryouts. didn't make it. concert singers, orchestra, staying after school to 5:30, waking up at 6:15.) And I have been really sore and tired, my eyes get bloodshot.So yeah. I haven't blogged in 1 week and 4 days. Thats a lot. But, I am still alive. I didn't die :). And the title, I was imitating Pauly D. Yeah-ah. And then after school today, Juicystar07 put up a video called " Snooki Halloween Tutorial. " And, I kinda got inspired. I transformed myself into Snooki in 14 minutes. New record.

Super tan face and bleached out lips. And you couldn't see my eyes, but they were like purple.

Hey everyone,

So, as I promised, I would do a " First Day of School " post. This has been long awaited for, so here you go! Oh, and stay tuned at the end. I have a little " Single Ladies " dance. Oh yeah. WOAH O OH.

Okay, so I am not going to tell you what grade I am in or where I go to school or anything like that because me, my mom, and dad do not want that shared. All that I can tell you is that I go to a public school in a mystical land called Oz ( Were off to see the wizard! THE WONDERFUL WIZARD OF OZ! ) Anyway, I wake up at 6:45 every morning, check my email, eat breakfast, blow dry my hair, and am out of the house by 8. That is my morning routine. Then we get in the car and my wonderful mom / dad drives me to school. I suddenly see kids walking to school with huge backpacks, carrying all of their supplies. What do I sound so excited? Because I love going back to school and seeing all of your old friends. I have about 3 close friends, but then the rest are like all of my friends that I barely talk to. I have always been kind of a shy kid and hate meeting new people. I really don't know how I will survive in the fashion industry! My dad drops me off where the crossing guard is , giving me a hug and a wave. I see some of my old friends, but ones I haven't talked to for years now.

Finally, I get to the cafeteria and suddenly see 2 of my close friends. I am not going to say their names on here, because the probably don't want their names on here. But they don't even know that I am talking about them on this blog! I give them big hugs and talk to them for a while. I see some other people ) orchestra friends, teachers, etc.) and give them a big wave and a little talking to. BECAUSE EVERYONE NEEDS A LITTLE TALKING TO. I get into my line, the sun burning and me sweating. I look at my line. All of the mean girls. Well, technically not mean, but apart of the " cool " crowd. They always make fun of me for reading, which I hate. They laugh and make fun of the book I am reading ( last year, someone made fun of my Christian Siriano book. HOW DARE THEY! Now I keep it in my locker and look at him all day and wish I could meet him. Sigh.) Anyway, they all have their hair scrunched of straightened and wearing 2 pounds of makeup. We walk inside and I smile. I have always loved this school and missed it so much over the summer break. Then we go to the auditorium, which I am not going to go into that much. It was just an orientation, ya know, the usuuuaaalll.

I am not going to go into too much detail about what I did the rest of the day, but I will just give you a gist.

Went to auditorium.
Went to cafeteria.
Went to homeroom.
Took a tour of the classrooms.
Came back.
Filled out some papers.
Went over class rules, guidelines, dress policy, new rules. ( which took about an hour. )
Walked home!
